Child's Birthday Card

When I saw the Fusion card challenge, I knew I had to play... I had some new Hooray by My Mind's Eye papers just waiting to be used :)

A super easy card to put together, can you see the vellum jar?  The balloons are mounted on foam squares.

The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink.

Can you tell which part of the challenge I was inspired by? ;)  The papers were perfect!

Time for Tea cards

Being a tea lover, after all of those coffee themed cards, I had to do a couple of tea ones ;)
I used the Office 365 collection by Fancy Pants and created a couple of 'tea reading' type of cards.

First up I used the Hug in a Mug stamp from The Ton along with a sentiment from the Beautiful Life set by Honey Bee and finally completed it with a Concord & 9th die.

I am playing along with the Sunday Stamps sketch for this week:

Next up, I really like this card!  I used the Let's Chat stamp from Concord & 9th along with a sentiment from the Posted Notes stamp set by Reverse Confetti.

A trio of citrus inspired cards

When I first saw the inspiration at The Card Concept, I thought I wouldn't be playing along.  After all it is fall, and I have been in fall mode with my cards.... however... I challenged myself and I am glad that I did.

I pulled out my Citrus Bliss collection by Pink Paislee and went to work.

I am so happy I challenged myself to play along as it made me pull out a few neglected dies and stamps.  First up some Avery Elle items.  I used the Margarita Shaker Die along with the Berry Good stamp set for this fun card.  I fussy cut some lemons from the pattern paper and mounted one of them on foam squares

Next up I used the Soda Pop Bottles and Soda Pop stamp by My Favorite Things... first time using them and they have been waiting for awhile ;)  The label was fussy cut from the pattern paper and mounted on foam squares.

Finally, I also played along with the MFT sketch challenge and used the Mason Jar Labels stamp set along with the Mason Jar die.  Once again, the lemon is fussy cut and mounted with foam squares.

Grateful heart

Live blogging happening here again :)

I decided to play a bit before getting on with my day.  I used the Harvest collection by Pebbles and the Hot Cocoa MFT die for a fun fall card.

Once again... you can imagine what is in the cups, for me it is tea ;)  For the sentiment, I cut apart one of the journal tags in the paper pack.  The twine is from May Arts.  The heart is from a punch that I have had for years, I think it may be a Marvy one.  Of course I had to add some staples.

Played with this sketch:

And of course playing along in this!

The colors were inspired from this challenge:

Same sketch and papers 2 different looks

When I saw the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches I knew I had to try it.  I also wanted to play along in the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop so I created a couple of coffee themed cards using some Prima paper.

First up I used the Coffee Word die from Stamplorations along with the Anywhere there's Coffee stamp, both from Stamplorations.  The coffee rings are from the New Day Stamp set by Precious Remembrance.  I mounted the main image on Foam Squares (Scrapbook Adhesives) and the twine is from May Arts.

Next up, I love the Cathy Caffeine from Art Impressions.  I paper pieced her, cut her out and mounted on foam squares.  I thought the sentiment from Stamplorations was perfect :)

Here is the sketch:

Grateful...

It was a long day but I felt I needed to craft ;)

I pulled out my Woodland Forest collection by Pebbles and created this 'grateful' card.  The large acorn is created on my Silhouette and mounted with foam squares.  The small acorn is from Casual Friday stamps and finally the sentiment die is from Simon Says.

Clean and Simple Pumpkin card

Will be getting on with my chores shortly here, but wanted to play again first.  Once again I dug into some older Pebbles papers (Thirty One) along with my Silhouette (basket) and pumpkin dies from Simon Says. After cutting out the basket, I used a woodgrain embossing plate from Papertrey Ink.

The stamps are from Papertrey Ink and the twine is May Arts.  I mounted the basket on foam squares (Scrapbook Adhesives)

Pumpkin Patch

Can you believe it is a layout?!  I haven't done a layout since last April and before that they were sparse!  Nothing like getting your health back on track for the mojo to come back - at least for now.

I used some Teresa Collins papers to scrap these photos of my grand daughter in the pumpkin patch last year - almost time for her to go again!

The woodgrain paper in the collection was perfect for cutting this Silhouette sign don't you think? And the fact that one of the chipboard elements had 50 cents... even better!

My grand daughter kept going for the biggest pumpkins - we eventually found a mini one for her to carry.  I tucked some May Arts burlap ribbon in behind and those leaves are a Marvy Punch.
A simple layout... but slowly getting back into the groove... starting simple :)

Trio of coffee themed cards

I was busy this morning.  The wet, rainy day (which I am happy about) inspired me to pull out my Warm and Cozy collection by Pebbles and some dies from My Favorite Things.

First up I created this one for a CASeing DT over at the Coffee Loving Paper crafters blog.  Now you know me... not a coffee fan... so this could be a hot chocolate or a tea latte ;) I even sprinkled some on some cinnamon.  The Tissue Tape is from Scrapbook Adhesives and the stamp is from Precious Remembrance

Next up I created this card for the MFT sketch challenge.  Of course I altered the sketch a bit ;)  There is just something about the log and plaid paper... reminds me of family trips to get firewood.  We would spend the day, while my dad and his friend chopped the wood, the rest of us had fun and of course some hot chocolate.  Miss those days!  Once again, topped with some cinnamon and the twine is from May Arts.

Finally, after that I was left with a strip of 3 1/2 X 5 cardstock so I decided to create a skinny card.  All dies are from My Favorite Things

I played along with the Freshly Made Sketches sketch challenge.

Of course they fit into this week's challenge:
