Country Girl

I was going through some old photos and came across this one of me (I miss those days!).  I decided I need to scrap it while I had my Honky Tonk by Cosmo Cricket still out on my desk.  I also used some Unity stamps, my Cricut and some Studio Calico veener.

A couple of close ups:

He & She

All this week Hampton Arts and Bella Blvd have joined up for a Blog Hop, have you been enjoying the posts?  I know I have!

I am up, along with a couple other Designers, on the Hampton Arts blog today.  I created this fun card using the HA stamps and Bella Blvd paper.

Now be sure to pop on over to the HA Blog to see what the others have created for you.

Boots, Class & a L'il Sass

I received my new Jess stamp by Unity and I had to play with her.  I used my Honky Tonk collection by Cosmo Cricket as it suits her perfectly don't you think.  The sentiment on the tag is from Cosmo Cricket but the image and the background stamp are from Unity.

I was inspired by the colors and the sketch at the Unity Be Inspired Challenge, and it is also for the Friends with Flair.

Time to Drink Champagne...

You have until Wednesday night to play along with The Inspired By Challenge.

I pulled out the colors and the distressing and had a lot of fun with my project.  I used my Trend Setter collection by Fancy Pants along with some Studio Calico veneer and mist and finally some Unity stamps (love the new Fashionistas and the companion sentiments!). I used my Cricut to cut out the pocket.

A couple of simple cards.

I got most of my DT projects finished today so I created a couple of cards just for fun.  I used up a lot of brain cells on my DT stuff so these are kinda clean and simple for me ;)

This first one uses some Teresa Collins papers along with a PTI stamp set.

This was for the City Crafter challenge:

Next up is a very CAS card, and one layer at that - not my usual style at all.  This is a Technique Tuesday stamp and a bit of Smooch spritz.  I still stitched around the edge... have to have a bit of 'me', hehehe.

I used this weeks CAS(E) this Sketch:

Project Life Week 20

So happy to have last week's photos done for my Project Life album... now it is onto my real project life - planting, cleaning, driving...

For this week I actually used my Acorn Avenue collection by Crate Paper.  Although it is a fall themed pack, I thought it worked well for the photos this week.  I also used some Technique Tuesday Stamps, SRM Stickers, Silhouette cuts and some wood veener by Freckled Fawn and Studio Calico.

So much fun with you

The weather is rainy right now so I took advantage of it and played in my scraproom.  I used my Kate & Co collection by My Mind's Eye along with some Laina Lamb stamps and dies from My Favorite Things and finally a bit of Freckled Fawn and SRM Stickers (love the white ones on photos).  I stamped on the chipboard frame, love the detail that it adds.

You & Me

I had fun creating this Photo Freedom spread with the You & Me collection by Echo Park.  It was fun going through the old photos and deciding on which to use.  I used my Silhouette for the die cuts and just added some May Arts Jute twine and pearls.  For more detailed information on how I created the pages, you can find the instructions here in an Echo Park PDF Freebie!

For You Upcycled purse

I am up on the Jillibean Soup blog today with a fun project.  I really love how this one turned out and can't wait to use it!  I used the new Chilled Cucumber Soup Collection along with a little Jillibean Wooden Flag, to alter a thrift store purse.  The purse had hard sides so it was easy to adhere the paper to it using my Glue Lines.  I cut out the flowers with my Cricut Flower Shoppe cartridge and used my Glue Dots to assemble them.  Whenever I purchase an item that has the little chain, I keep them just for projects like this as I love the little added detail that it gives.  Don't you think it is a cute way to give a flower?

And here is the purse before.
